Emergency Maintenance
Types of Emergencies We Cover
Not all emergencies are equal. A dripping faucet can wait; a burst pipe cannot. Here's how we classify and prioritize every type of situation that comes through our emergency line.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a minor water leak an emergency?
It depends on the flow rate and source. A slow dripping faucet can wait until tomorrow. An actively leaking pipe or sewer backup is treated as a priority.
What should I do if I suspect a gas leak?
Evacuate immediately, don't flip any switches, call Énergir (already required in Quebec) and our emergency line in parallel.
Are electrical emergencies common in winter?
Yes - circuit overload linked to baseboard heaters and space heaters is a frequent cause of outages in January and February.
How do you know which contractor to send?
Our phone triage protocol identifies the category within the first few questions, letting us dispatch the right specialist immediately rather than sending a generalist who then has to subcontract.
